Glenn Oakley Photography

I've read Boise-based photographer Glenn Oakley's by-line ever since I remember being interested in photography. I feel lucky to get the opportunity to work as Glenn's assistant from time to time, and we just got back from four days of fantastic shooting in Aspen Colorado. MMG Worldwide selected Oakley to shoot the 2009 Colorado tourism print campaign.

The images are human animated landscapes in classic Oakley panoramic style. Thanks to Jen at MMG Worldwide for a creative vision that complements Oakley's strong landscape imagery, and especially to Liz and Jere Long at Aspen Productions for a smooth seamless fall shoot. You two are incredible. I hope we all get to work together again.

Lisa Tate and Soaringdreamsart.com

Lisa Tate, an extremely talented glass artist based in Boise Idaho, commissioned seven images of her most recent glass work. Lisa will use the images to update her web-portfolio and as artist statement hand-outs at regional and national art galleries.

In addition to traditional hand-blown glass pieces, Lisa creates distinctive cameo platters. The labor intensive Cameo process involves etching relief figures into layers of different colored glass. Lisa's intricate cameo work is laced with themes from the natural world such as birds, frogs, and wild horses.
